ALL LIGHTING PRODUCTS SOLD BY Rev•A•Shelf® ARE WARRANTED TO BE FREE FROM DEFECTS IN MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP FOR A PERIOD OF EITHER 1 YEAR OR 3 YEARS DEPENDINGING ON THE PRODUCT. PRODUCTS WITH 3 YEAR WARRANTY ARE DENOTED BY SPECIAL ICON ON CATALOG PRODUCT PAGES.
THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES NOT EXPRESSLY SET FORTH HEREIN, WHETHER EXPRESSED, IMPLIED BY OPERATION OF LAW, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS.
Rev•A•Shelf® shall not be liable for incidental or consequential losses, damages or expenses, directly or indirectly arising from the sale, handling or use of the products, or from any other cause relating directly or indirectly thereto, and Rev•A•Shelf®’s liability in any case is expressly limited to the replacement (in the form originally shipped) of non-complying products, or, at Rev•A•Shelf®’s election, to the repayment of, or crediting Buyer with, an amount equal to the purchase price of such products, whether such claims are for breach of warrant, negligence or otherwise. If the limitation of liability provided herein shall fail of its essential purpose, Rev•A•Shelf®’s total liability for any damages shall in no event exceed the total of ten times the retail price of the product. Any action for damage must be commenced after the accrual of the cause of action.
Rev•A•Shelf® shall have the right to require Buyer, at its expense, to return to designated factory for inspection or repair any product claimed to be defective. The determination of Rev•A•Shelf® as to the existence of a valid claim for replacement, repair, exchange or damages, under this warranty or otherwise, shall be conclusive. Replacement parts shall be furnished F.O.B. factory. Buyer shall assume the labor and delivery costs in removing and replacing a defective product. Any material returned with production code stickers or stamps removed will automatically be nullified under the warranty terms.
Color Matching Warranty Disclaimer
Rev-A-Shelf takes every step necessary to ensure light output color consistency. This is done through choosing premium diode manufacturers and only accepting designated bins. There are inherent manufacturing differences between diodes and between batches of diodes beyond our control. Rev-A-Shelf warrants a tolerance of +/- 150K (Kelvin). If you find a shipment to look different than a previous shipment but it is within the +/- tolerance it will not be considered defective. If you find great light color output differences within the same shipment please contact us for verification and possible RGA. All batch codes can be found on the product. Please check all light fixture batch codes prior to contacting Rev-A-Shelf to report an issue.
LITHIUM BATTERY NOTICE:
Several new items have been added to the Tresco offering which contain Lithium Batteries. Due to the many regulations and various stipulations regarding the transport of such items Rev-A-Shelf imposes a “no air shipment” policy for any items containing Lithium Batteries. Additionally, product cartons will be marked with a notice denoting contents contain Lithium Batteries. It is the sole responsibility of the buyer and reseller to follow all regulations when re-shipping.
Due to the small nature and variable packing methods of the Tresco lighting products, weights are not listed. Weight information can be furnished upon request but will only include individual piece weights.
Rev•A•Shelf® makes every effort to verify and ensure that our product specifications are correct and up to date. However we reserve the right to make engineering changes that affect any critical product dimension without notice. Rev•A•Shelf® shall not be held liable for any cost related to such a change, misprint, instruction, or product template error.
All claims pertaining to shortages/overages or incorrect items must be made within 10 days after receipt of shipment. These claims must be reported to your Customer Service Rep as soon as possible. (Any claim reported after 10 days or any shortage claim of countable cartons not noted on freight bill at time of delivery will not be honored.) When you call be prepared to give the following information:
1. Rev•A•Shelf® Order Number
2. Number of cartons for which your receiving department signed.
3. Copy of signed freight bill with shortage noted (must be faxed to your Customer Service Representative)
4. Rev•A•Shelf® part number and quantity of shortage/overage (or explanation of discrepancy)
5. With a concealed problem, you must provide the date stamp that appears on the carton outside the label; otherwise claim will be denied.
Any claim not reported to Customer Service which is deducted from payments will not be allowed.
RETURN GOODS AUTHORIZATION (RGA)
It is entirely the decision of Rev•A•Shelf® if damaged merchandise must be returned for credit. A request for a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) must be given to your Rev•A•Shelf® Sales Rep. Once an agreement is reached to return merchandise a copy of the RGA will be faxed/emailed to the Customer stating all terms and condition of return. Nothing can be returned until you receive this fax/email. Merchandise arriving at the Rev•A•Shelf® dock without the proper RGA will be refused at the Customer’s expense. Merchandise on RGA must be received by RAS within 30 days of RGA issuance for credit to be considered. Credits for RGA’s will be issued within 3 days of the receipt of the product. A deduction cannot be taken until credit memo is issued.
